I just bought an original copy of the 1920s Millions now living will never die.

so i picked up an original copy of the 1920 millions book.

can anyone give me some of the most crazy wrong predictions in this book?

its a rare book that is a bit hard to find.

That's the highlight of this book and its'accompanying talk and why it exists.

It's funny, the publications have brazenly put this book on display as a highlight of our precious "spiritual heritage", yet none of the r&f stop to think that the very title is an unfulfilled false prophecy! And if they excuse it by saying, 'well, it's talking about those who will be resurrected', well they're wrong. This book was about the 'clear evidence' that the end was coming in 1925, and that therefore they would never have to die at all.

Nice find, I hope you are able to use it for reverse witnessing, because that could be more valuable than an unofficial PDF that has likely been altered with "apostate lies".

the recent thread on pokemon reminded me of a talk i heard once years ago.

an then-brother was giving a talk on being rightous.

he recounted the tale of speaking with an older brother when the star wars movie first came out (episode 4, not the new ones).

I like Qui Gon Jinn because he relates to myself and other PIMO JWs, i.e. he was looked down on by the jedi council because he thought outside the box and wasn't dogmatic, seemingly more spiritual than religious if you will.

I also love Chirrut Imwe from Rogue One. I love how he isn't an overt force user, yet he does undoubtedly tap into it to augment his blindness, and I also like his dry sense of humor and banter with his friend Baze Malbus.

Is there any reason Watchtower is disposing of their Islam-focussed literature and replacing it with a generic brochure?

Yes, they mentioned it in a letter a few years ago. They said Muslims are more likely to outright reject anything that seems critical of Islam, so it's better to witness subtly.

Hmmm. A repressive, high control religion that forbids its' members from reading anything that's critical about it. Sound familiar?

Anyone every heard anything about your own blood?

i was wondering if there was any policy from the cult about your own blood in you cut your finger and put it in your mouth out of reflex ect.

what if any is the position of this?

i always thought the amount of blood is not the real issue, even a drop would be a sin?.

Their explanation is that in this instance Jesus was talking about sins related to financial and business matters. This idea is made out of whole cloth and has absolutely no basis.
